Internal Medicine, Hypertension Specialist & Nephrologist Executive Medical Director, Eden Well
Dr. Roberts is a highly accomplished Nephrologist, American board-certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Nephrology and certified as a Hypertension Specialist. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, he is a proud alumnus of Queen’s College High School and Acadia University, where he laid the foundation for his medical journey.
After completing his M.B.B.S at the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica, Dr. Roberts pursued an Internal Medicine residency with Columbia University in New York, where he earned honorable mentions for his exceptional work. His commitment to Nephrology led him to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Chief Fellow during his Nephrology Fellowship, honing his expertise in kidney disease management.
Dr. Roberts has dedicated his career to raising awareness about kidney disease and advocating for those affected by it. As the current Executive Medical Director of the Bahamas Kidney Association, he continues to lead initiatives to improve kidney health in the community. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and an active member of the National Kidney Foundation, contributing to research in the field of kidney disease. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Roberts is a devoted husband and father of one son. He enjoys sports and has a passion for digital design, embracing both his love for health and creativity.
Brittany Major MT(ASCP)
Lab Director
Brittany Major is a US board-certified Medical Technologist with a career spanning over a decade in laboratory science. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, she graduated from St. Andrew’s School before furthering her education at Michigan State University, where she earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics and Biology in 2012.
In 2013, Brittany relocated to Washington, DC, to pursue a Medical Technology program at Washington Hospital Center. She completed the program in 2014 and passed the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) board exam, earning her certification as a Medical Technologist. Following her certification, she moved to South Florida and worked as a Generalist at Northwest Medical Center in Pompano Beach, Florida.
In 2017, Brittany returned to The Bahamas to serve as the Laboratory Supervisor at a local clinic and joined Eden Well in 2022. A member of the Bahamas Association of Medical Technologists (BAMT), Brittany has developed strong relationships with local physicians and colleagues in the medical field, reflecting her dedication to professional growth and collaboration. She aims to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within laboratory medicine in The Bahamas.
